Slaughter Night (2006)

After her father is killed in a crash, a girl and four friends stop at his office to collect his things.  The girl finds a Ouija board, a cassette tape with research about a serial killer, and the killers music box.  Legend says the killer used occult powers to go to hell and back because he wanted to ask his parents what they'd done with their money.  He expected a large inheritance, but all he was left was the music box.  His plan involved ritually killing children and he dispatched seven kids before being caught.

The girl and her friends are offered a tour of the mine on the grounds where her father worked.  They  end up on a tour with a grief counselor and the siblings under his care.  When they are ready to leave, the elevator won't work, so the tour guide heads off to an escape tunnel to climb out and get help since the radio is also out.

While he's gone, the group break out the Ouija board and have a seance to contact the spirit of the serial killer, who is supposed to haunt the mine.  Turns out it's not a good idea to contact evil spriits when you're trapped under ground. Soon the spirit is inhabiting the bodies of those in the mine and wants to kill everyone.  It's not highly original, but it was okay.
