Sunny and Brad rent a cabin for the weekend. Sunny is an influencer so she is not happy there is no cell reception. But at one point in their wanderings, she can get a signal so she posts online about where they are. Yes, I’m sure that’s perfectly safe. Nothing could ever go wrong.
When Brad is in the woods, he sees a creepy guy in a mask. He manages to outrun the guy and when he gets back, he keeps his mouth shut about what he saw. No warning to let Sunny know she may want to be careful or to keep the doors locked. Oh Brad.
Later that night, three masked men with knives show up at the cabin. It’s obvious they are serious about causing the couple harm. At this point, the two really need to be deciding on how to survive. But they don’t seem to grasp the situation. Even when the men are pouring gasoline on the cabin, they aren’t as alarmed as they should be.
This is kind of a low rent Strangers, with a couple who can’t make a good decision. At one point, Sunny runs to the car to escape and gets the door open, but one of the guys appears. Instead of kicking him in the junk and jumping into the car, she runs back to the cabin, which doesn’t do either of them any good.
